anybody out there?
I have some metaphysical things, mostly books, to trade. What I have:
The Spiral Dance (tenth anniversary edition) by Starhawk
Evolutionary Witchcraft by T. Thorne Coyle
Revelations Tarot (cards and book)
Sexy Witch by Lasara Firefox
Alchemical Healing by Nicki Skully
The Magdalen Manuscript by Tom Kenyon and Judy Sion
Healing With the Herbs of Life by Lesley Tierra
New Encyclopedia of Herbs and their Uses (this is a big, heavy, relatively expensive book) by Deni Brown
a small skull carved from smoky quartz (about 3/4" tall)
a smallish cauldron, 4ish inches tall, 3 across the opening, with wire handle and lid. faux cast iron (heavy shiny metal that seems to be covered with a cast-iron-like paint or coating - probably fine unless you want to cook with it, which I was hoping to)
What I'm looking for:
a cauldron of any size that's actually cast iron
large quartz points
crow feathers gathered without harm to crows
Christopher Penczak books other than the first three in the TOW series
Will also consider:
beeswax or soy wax candles
high quality essential oils
other crystals/semi-precious stones
interesting goblets or mugs
certain Crowley books
offer me something else?

Books & Musick X-posted
The Heretic's Guide to Thelema will be released this June.
This is actually a work in three volumes, containing new editions of (until now, out of print) New Aeon Magick: Thelema Without Tears and New Aeon English Qabalah Revealed, as well as a brand new book called The Ethics of Thelema.
New Aeon Magick is a primer on Thelema, written by the author for his children (though perfectly appropriate for people of all ages). Rather than merely relying on a lot of theory and fancy words, this text is meant for everyday practice and integration into one's life. New Aeon English Qabalah Revealed takes Qabalah out of ancient Hebrew and into a more common modern language. However, rather than completely divorcing Qabalah from its roots, the text integrates the old and the new into a system fit for the 21st century. The Ethics of Thelema, while it explores decisions, beliefs and perspectives from a Thelemic viewpoint, may be of interest to anyone, Thelemite or no, who ponders the intent and impact of thoughts and actions.
I am also proud to announce the ultimate coolness of my band mates in Trick Sensei, who have teamed up with me to release a special promotional 7-song CD of some of our best material just for folks who preorder The Heretic's Guide to Thelema. This is limited to a run of fifty copies, the CDs will be available - for free -- only with the first fifty copies of the book sold.
For the first fifty copies, orders made from the U.S. or Canada will be shipped from the U.S. Orders made elsewhere will be shipped from the U.K. CDs will be shipped with books.
To order, please click here... and tell your friends, for crying out loud! And if you haven't already done so, check out the other works offered by Immanion Press.
If you have any questions, please contact Lupa (whishthound (at) gmail.com) – U.S. orders

Oldish Llwellyn Magical Almanacs
I've got 1996-2003, plus the 2003 Witches' Almanac, also from Llwellyn. Happy to split 'em up if you only want particular years. There are some neat spells and blurbs in these, which is why I kept 'em, but I have gotten pretty much everything I'm going to get out of them, so I'm looking to pass them on.
Interested in: Conjure Oils or BPAL oils, skulls (real ones), Feri-related books (still looking for The White Wand
, for example), photo-printing paper for inkjet printers, narrow-gauge natural material earrings (bone, wood, horn), back issues of Witch Eye
magazine. Um. Probably lots of other things, so if you're interested in the Almanacs, let me know what you'd like to offer. :)

I want to find a good home for my Chinese Tarot Deck
. It's in it's original box in new condition (I've taken it out to look at it maybe twice).
In exchange I am looking for the Legend: Arthurian Tarot Deck
(the cards themselves).
I'm also looking for a home for The Encyclopedia of Ireland
, while not strictly metaphysical I thought someone here might be interested. In fact, I will throw the deck and the book in together in exchange for a Legend: Arthurian tarot deck in good condition.

I have some of my famous Abramelin oil for sale. It is made from pharmaceutical quality oils, not the Anna Riva crap you get at the shops. It is $31 per ounce, or... what do you have to trade?

Handcrafted scrying mirror and bone athame
I handcrafted this scrying mirror. It has a black velvet surface under two layers of glass to make a reflective surface, and the wood has been stained. It has always been kept wrapped in black silk. It's smaller, probably 10 inches by 4. I put a lot of work into it, so I want to make sure it goes to a good home.
As for what I want in return, what do you have? I am not a Wiccan so I'm not particularly interested in spell books or giant pentacle-things. Email me if you are interested.

Large figure of Brigid needs new home
I acquired this statue/figure of Brigid last month at PantheaCon in San Jose, California (you can read more details about the circumstances under "7:00 PM Sunday" in this post
, if you are interested) and am hoping to locate its "real home", since I can't take it with me when I move to Canada in six weeks and my mother is not at all thrilled about the idea of it sitting in the living room. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to sell
this, I'm trying to give
it to someone, although I would expect to be reimbursed for any gas/shipping. Since this is my post in meta_trade
, of course trading or part-trade is fine too; if you are seriously interested in having this then we can discuss what I would like in trade.( Read more...Collapse )
I hoped at the time, when I was getting this from the auctions on Sunday night for an unbelievably small amount of money, that this was "supposed" to be for someone else, a person or group that I was supposed to give it away to, and not something I was supposed to try to keep. So I'm hoping the person this "belongs" to is out there somewhere in paganland. Obviously it's best/easiest if you are reasonably local to the south Bay area in California because then I can probably drive it to where you are, or you can pick it up. I am willing to try to ship it somewhere, but because of its size (not so much its weight, although it does weigh about 30 pounds, I'd guess, mostly in the base) UPS tells me it will probably cost something like $125 to do so within the United States.

I have two Tarot decks I haven't used in years: the Starter Tarot
, and Tarot of the Witches
There isn't much metaphysical I'd like at the moment in return, though I'd consider a rock or pendant; massage would be much preferred! Drop a note to keyne at livejournal if you'd like to work out a trade.

Artist Trading Cards
A friend of mine pointed this site out to me a couple of days ago, and I can't help but to be inspired. Sounds like an awesome way to get ones art out there. Check it out.http://www.cedarseed.com/air/atc.html
If anyone is interested and similarly inspired, we could start trading amongst ourseves? The only rules are that they not be sold - traded only, and that they comform to the standard, which is 2.5X3.5 inches.
